This image is based on a location on Little White Alice, Wild Place, Cornwall. "Reality" in photography was traditionally altered through staging, lens filters, and darkroom techniques. In the modern era, this process is achieved digitally. In my experience, the light as captured by the camera often doesn't match the emotions I felt at the moment of shooting. Therefore, I embark on a transformation process, an art form in its own right, that turns each photograph into a journey filled with tremendous excitement.
