To the Sea
I like getting into the sea when it is quite rough. When you
have to dive, so as not to be shaken to and fro by the furious
waves. When you feel like riding a vigorous horse without saddle,
on a pearl mare - as Lorca would put it. When you
run out of air at times, and, finally, you get out crawling,
to have a siesta in the warm sand.
I also like to get in when it is as calm as a mirror, so transparent,
inviting you to dive and discover the wonders of the coral's colours.
On the surface, tender waves make you slide, make you dance the
rhythm of the waltz.
Rough or calm, tender or furious. It is the sea. The incredible
pleasure of being embraced by this mysterious, astonishing,
wonderful, and always beautiful friend.
